Compass keeps the decision process concrete: understand the current management cost, the protection terms that may apply to qualifying properties and Compass-placed tenancies, and the rent strategy for the actual property before committing.
Transparent management pricing
Standard full management for 1–4 unit residential properties is 8.5% of rent collected with a $195 monthly minimum. The current standard schedule also lists a $665 tenant placement fee under full management and a $250 renewal fee.
Written owner-protection commitments
Qualifying owners and Compass-placed tenancies may be eligible for the Service Satisfaction Commitment, one no-cost replacement placement, up to $3,000 in approved eviction-coordination attorney and court payments, and up to $1,000 in approved animal-related repair vendor payments.
Property-specific rental analysis
Los Angeles County rent positioning depends on the actual address, condition, property type, occupancy, local competition, and applicable operating constraints. Start with a property-specific rental analysis rather than a generic county average.
